No other movie event in recent times has ever generated so much of curiousity and anticipation both in the media and among audience like the grand teaser launch of India’s Numero Uno director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film and Mahesh Babu starrer, SSMB29, which is going to be held this Saturday in Hyderabad.
Just like how grand and speculatular his movies appear on screen, Rajamouli is chalking out a similar strategy for this one-of-its-kind event because he intends to position the film as an International release and aim to consolidate his box office clout further beyond India. To make this event a grand success, Rajamouli and his team have been working round the clock to make sure that everything falls in place before the start.
Usually, there will be extensive story sittings and elaborate pre-production activites for Rajamouli’s films because he is stickler for perfection and prepares his cast and crew accordingly before taking the film on to the sets. But, even for this highly anticipated event, Rajamouli is holding lots of brainstorming sessions with the event managers to ensure that it turns out to be massive hit without any hiccups.
For this mega event, Rajamouli zeroed in popular Telugu anchor Suma Kanakala and YouTube sensation Ashish Chanchahlani as hosts. Just like his story sittings, Rajamouli is holding event sittings with both these hosts ahead of the big day.
It is well known how Rajamouli supervises every scene in his films and he even demonstrates actors on how he wants them to act before the original shot is commenced. He doing the same for this event as well. From the past few days, he is personally coordinating with the event team and also taking control of everything before its starts. This is why he is called a Jakkanna ( Sculptor).
