Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the film The Raja Saab is hitting the screens during Sankranthi next year, on January 9th, 2025. Directed by Maruthi, the film is billed to be a horror fantasy entertainer, and the makers dropped the trailer today, which is a feast for all the fans.
Going by the film’s trailer, Prabhas is introduced as a carefree person who gets into a haunted house. However, he is also being treated for some psychological issue. Later, as he witnesses the presence of a ghost, he relates it to his grandfather. As he also meets the women in his life, the dramatic turn of events lands him in the haunted house, where he will face a lot of obstacles in finding the mystery behind it.
Sanjay Dutt plays the ghost in the film, and Prabhas has a connection with him. The trailer also showcases Prabhas in an old getup, sitting on the throne in the place of Sanjay Dutt. The trailer dropped several hints and also kept certain mysterious elements under wraps.
The VFX work is good, with Prabhas’ fighting a crocodile in the water, and him undergoing several obstacles that are often seen in fantasy films. The film is also stunning visually. The score of Thaman is good too.
Most importantly, Prabhas is seen in his usual joyful avatar, compared to what he has played in the recent past, which is an element of relief for the fans to enjoy his performance in theatres. Maruthi seems to have cooked up an wholesome entertaining film and we have to see how audiences will accept it.
Niddhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar are playing the heroines in the movie. People Media Factory Banner is producing the film. The film features music by Thaman S.
