Prerna Reveals Mythological Inspiration Behind Jatadhara – FilmShlim

Producer Prerna Arora who delivered some sensational hits in Bollywood is making her Telugu debut with Sudheer Babu starrer Jatadhara. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the film is set for release on the 7th of this month.

Prerna Arora describes Jatadhara as a true pan-India project. “Jatadhara is a mix of family emotions, mythology and supernatural ingredients. It will offer a great visual experience. Considering the universal appeal in the story, we are releasing it in Telugu as well as Hindi.”

The producer expressed her admiration for Sudheer Babu saying, “I was delighted that my first Telugu film was with Sudheer Babu. He is a very hardworking actor with great passion. The film has very challenging sequences, and he performed them all sportively and with dedication. His performance in this film will be memorable for the audience.”

She calls Sonakshi Sinha as a brilliant performer. “She is perfect for the Dhana Pisachi character, which will be very memorable. She has worn very heavy costumes for the film and had a lot of preparation before the shoot. She and Sudheer Babu have some very heavy action sequences that will surely entertain the audience.”

On the inspiration behind the story, she explained, “The story is written with mythological inspiration. You must know about the Naga Bandham at the Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple. I read the Puranas; Lord Venkateswara is my favorite deity. The Padmanabhaswamy Temple is an inspiration here. The elements related to the Dhana Pisachi will surprise the audience. The film features exciting elements like divine elements and black magic.”

The producer also informed that Jatadhara will have part 2.
