Popular Tollywood comedian Fish Venkat is battling severe health complications, and Pan-Indian star Prabhas has stepped in to support him. The actor, known for his comic timing in films like Aadi, Gabbar Singh, Mirapakay, and DJ Tillu, has been undergoing treatment for kidney failure and is currently in critical condition.
Fish Venkat has been struggling with kidney-related health issues for the past nine months, surviving on dialysis. However, his condition worsened in recent days, forcing his family to admit him to a private hospital in Hyderabad, where he is now on a ventilator. According to doctors, a kidney transplant is the only option to save his life, with estimated medical expenses of around ₹50 lakh.
Amid this crisis, Venkat’s daughter, Sravanthi, made an emotional appeal through the media, seeking financial help and a kidney donor. She revealed that her blood type doesn’t match her father’s, and though Venkat’s brother’s blood group matches, health issues prevent him from donating.
Upon learning about Venkat’s condition, Prabhas’s team immediately contacted the family and assured complete financial assistance for the transplant and related treatment. “Prabhas’s assistant called and told us to arrange a kidney donor, and they would take care of the operation expenses,” said Sravanthi, expressing gratitude towards the Rebel star for his generosity.
The Tollywood fraternity and fans have been showering praises on Prabhas for this timely support. This is not the first time the Baahubali actor has stepped up to help those in need. He has supported several technicians in the past as well.
Currently, Fish Venkat’s family is searching for a suitable donor. His wife and daughter have appealed to the public to come forward and help save his life. Fans and well-wishers are hoping for his speedy recovery, as the industry once again shows that solidarity goes beyond the big screen.
