Prabhas is currently the busiest actor in the Telugu film industry, and he is also the most affected due to the recent Tollywood strike. With the film’s shoots coming to a halt for almost 18 days, all projects starring Prabhas have also come to a halt. Now, the producers of his films are finding it hard to get his dates with the demand is growing from all corners.
Prabhas is yet to wrap up the shoot of his next film The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the film is creating a special interest among the film circles already. With the film scheduled for a release in December, the makers need to shoot for 20 more days to call it a wrap. Prabhas’ dates are crucial as the team wants to speed up the post production works.
On the other hand, Prabhas also started the shoot for a film tentatively titled Fauzi, in the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi. The team already wrapped up half of the portions and wants to pick up speed. The strike already disrupted their plans and they want to cover it up by filming non-stop. For the same, they need the call sheets of Prabhas in bulk.
Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was planning to start the shoot of Spirit from September. The shoot was supposed to start by now but the pre-production delays pushed the beginning to September. Sandeep is all ready but Prabhas’ dates garnered demand from other producers, because of the strike.
Director Nag Ashwin who is also planning to begin Kalki 2 at the earliest will also be facing this issue as Prabhas has to finish prior commitments. Reportedly, he is moving on to a female centric film in the meantime.
Considering this scenario, Prabhas is the most affected but he is willing to cooperate and shoot non-stop.
