Powerstar Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role in the upcoming film OG. Directed by Sujeeth, the film unit began the promotions. The film is releasing on the 25th of this month and the makers are unveiling the character looks of the main cast.

Today, they revealed that Prakash Raj is playing Satya Dada in the film. Going by the look and feel of it, Prakash Raj will be seen as a gangster in the movie. However, the poster also reignited discussions about how Pawan Kalyan has a clear differentiation of the Art and the Artist.

While Pawan Kalyan differs with Artist Prakash Raj on political grounds, he respects him for the art that he possesses. In several instances, both Prakash Raj and Pawan Kalyan went in opposite directions with regard to sharing political opinions. Prakash Raj continues to criticize Pawan Kalyan even today for endorsing PM Modi. Prakash also questions Pawan Kalyan’s Sanathana Dharma stance.

Pawan Kalyan did respond to Prakash Raj’s criticism harshly in one or two instances. But, Prakash Raj also caught the fire from Pawan’s fans on social media for targeting Pawan Kalyan every now and then. In spite of all that, Pawan was welcoming and accommodated Prakash Raj in OG, at a time when Prakash Raj was not doing many films.

Prakash Raj is a gifted actor with a lot of versatility, and there is no doubt about it. However, he has been very selective about the movies he is currently doing. To be seen in a film featuring Pawan Kalyan means the exposure is guaranteed for any actor. In a way, this move can be considered as a comeback for Prakash Raj.

Putting aside the political differences and other conflicts, Pawan Kalyan has respected the art with which Prakash Raj entertains everyone on the screen, and this is not the first time that he has done so.

Earlier, Pawan worked with Prakash Raj in Vakeel Saab when PR was criticizing Pawan Kalyan for his failure in elections and all other aspects. Even during that time, Pawan made it clear that they both differ in the political arena, but when they meet on film sets, they don’t carry their political rivalry.

Although Prakash Raj’s inclusion in OG is not a surprise to the fans, the unveiling of his look poster now has ignited discussions among the fans once again as to how Pawan follows the principle, ‘Thammudu Thammude, Pekaata Pekaate.’

Directed by Sujeeth, OG is produced by DVV Danayya.
