Pawan Kalyan has largely stayed away from promoting his films in recent years, often due to political responsibilities. Even during major releases, the actor-turned-politician has rarely been seen at press meets or film events.

That’s set to change with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, his first film release after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh following the 2024 elections. As part of the film’s promotional activities, Pawan Kalyan will attend a press meet on Monday, at 10 AM in Hyderabad, along with the cast and crew. This marks his first formal media interaction for a film in nearly a decade.

Later in the evening, a pre-release event for Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be held in Hyderabad. Ministers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka have been invited, with the cinematography ministers from the Telugu states confirming their presence. Director SS Rajamouli and writer-director Trivikram Srinivas are also expected to attend.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna, Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been in the making for several years, facing multiple delays. The film’s progress slowed during the pandemic and again due to Pawan’s increased political involvement. However, with post-production now complete, the team is moving ahead with its release this Thursday.

According to sources, Pawan Kalyan recently watched the final version of the film and was reportedly satisfied with how it turned out. That may be one of the reasons behind his decision to appear before the media and engage with fans. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 24, with 9 PM premiere shows planned across Telugu states on July 23.
