One More Untimely Demise Hit ‘Kantara’ – FilmShlim

Kantara: Chapter 1 is the prequel to the successful movie Kantara. Starring Rishab Shetty in the lead role, the film garnered a wide spread attention across the nation. The film unit is spending huge on this prequel and there is quite a unique buzz surrounding the film. However now, there have been reports about some tragedies that the team is facing.

As per the reports, a mimicry artist associated with the film’s production has reportedly died of a suspected heart attack near Agumbe in Shivamogga district. Named Viju, the mimicry artist is from Kerala and has been staying in Agumbe, along with Kantara film unit. However, he suffered chest pain on Wednesday night and reportedly rushed to hospital.

The doctors later declared that he was brought dead. It is the second untimely death, involving the team members of Kantara.

Last time, on May 7, junior artiste M.F. Kapil, who was working on Kantara: Chapter 1, drowned in the Souparnika river in Udupi district. These untimely deaths related to the film, directly or indirectly is bringing a negative vibe to the project.

However, the film’s production house, Hombale Films, have not issued a statement regarding the involvement of Viju in the project.
