After witnessing the result of War 2, the Telugu film audiences are hugely disappointed with how NTR was shown in the film. Interestingly, a new debate is picking up pace in the film circles. With the South directors crafting blockbusters with the Bollywood actors, the Bollywood directors are delivering flops to the Telugu actors. Time and again, this has been proven.

When Mega Powerstar Ram Charan was experiencing the peak of his career with Magadheera, he teamed up with director Apoorva Lakhiya for the remake of the Bollywood hit film Zanjeer. Ram Charan was brutally trolled for his performance and the portrayal of an angry young police officer. The film that brought stardom to Amitabh resulted in an insult for Ram Charan when he attempted this remake. Clearly, Apoorva failed to use Charan’s craze and success.

And then, the biggest insult that has come in the recent past is Adipurush. The latest portrayal of Ramayana resulted in huge criticism. Director Om Raut, who tasted success with Tanaji, disappointed everyone big time. Everyone hoped that the Ramayana adaptation would serve as a classic reference for the latest generation audiences. Prabhas was a successful pan-India star by the time he was doing, but Om Raut failed to use the actor’s stardom.

Cut to the present, NTR is riding high with the success of RRR and Devara. At this juncture, he was offered to play a negative shaded role, which is something out of his comfort zone. The icing on the cake is the collaboration with Hrithik Roshan. But director Ayan Mukherji who is talented enough failed miserably in crafting the film as a blockbuster. NTR is a talented actor who was not used to the fullest. The Telugu audiences think that Ayan could not handle NTR well, resulting in colossal damage.

Time and again, it has been proved that other language directors can never handle Telugu stars well but the Telugu directors earn universal acceptance.
