Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG, which released on September 25 and grossed nearly Rs 300 crore worldwide and the film stands as the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year.

The action drama originally received an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board due to its intense violence and mature content, restricting viewers below 18.

The same version began streaming on Netflix from October 23 without any modifications, as the platform does not impose such age-based restrictions. However, for its upcoming television premiere, the film has undergone significant changes.

They Call Him OG has been re-censored to get a U/A certificate suitable for family audiences. Around 10 minutes of footage, primarily containing violent sequences, has been removed from the original version.

The theatrical cut ran for 154 minutes and 15 seconds, while the revised television version clocks in at 143 minutes and 52 seconds. The trimmed version aims to make the film more appropriate for home viewing, especially for families watching with children.

Directed by Sujeeth, the film stars Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Neha Shetty, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments, with music composed by Thaman S.
