The Telugu film industry offers a platform to talents across the nation. Telugu filmmakers never were partial towards heroines from other languages, because of which many North Indian girls built careers here. However, in the recent past, a lot of Kannada girls were also venturing into Telugu to capture the limelight but no one is as successful as Rashmika Mandanna.

In the recent past, Sapthami Gowda made her debut in Telugu with the film Thammudu. Playing the character Rathna, she received a lot of criticism. The actress did her best in the role she was offered, but the way she was introduced and the dialogues, along with the accent with which they were delivered, made the difference. The audiences and critics disliked her role, spoiling her chances further in the industry.

Sapthami shot to fame with Kantara and when she came on board for Thammudu, many thought that she would break into the star league of heroines. But, the end is disappointment. However, since she has Kantara Chapter 1, she may turn around her luck and can come back to demand once again.

On the other hand, another talented heroine, Rukmini Vasanth, who debuted with a film starring Nikhil, did not make any impression. The movie failed miserably but she pinned her hopes on NTR’s next film with Prashanth Neel. The film can be a gamechanger for her undoubtedly.

Sreeleela showed some promise but of late, the choices she is making is putting her in a tight spot. But, the fact is that Rashmika had luck and the courage to take up some roles which worked in her favour. Even today, she enjoys success, stardom and recognition. So, everyone is not as lucky as Rashmika.
