Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s OG hit the screens today, but it had paid premieres in the majority of locations across the world. With full-fledged premieres taking place in the Telugu states, there are some shows that were held in selective locations of North India and it paid off big time for the distributors.
The North distributors planned the Telugu premieres of the film in such a manner that they generated a revenue of 30 Lakh rupees alone. In such a limited space where Pawan Kalyan does not command a big craze, the limited premiere sales are astonishing for the investors as it has repeated rich dividends.
The advances opened on Wednesday evening. Moreover, the multiplex chain Movie Max managed to sell around 6500 tickets in no time. The film clocked an approx. staggering occupancy of 85 percent in premieres, which is a huge achievement for a star like Pawan Kalyan, whose last film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, flopped big time.
Directed by Sujeeth, the film is expected to register a very good number on the release day in the North circuit. Produced by DVV Danayya, the film has Mumbai as its backdrop.
