Pradeep Ranganathan, who started his career as a director, shifted focus to acting and scored massive hits with Love Today as well as Dragon. Now, he has two films lined up for a grand release. They are Love Insurance Kompany and Dude.
Surprisingly, both films were announced to be Diwali releases, initiating a clash of two films, featuring the same actor. However, Pradeep gave clarity on the same recently.
Speaking at an event, Pradeep has confirmed that the self-clash is not happening. When asked about the updates on his film’s releases, Pradeep confirmed that the audience can watch him on the big screen for this Diwali.
“Dude or LIK – One of the two films will hit the screens for Diwali,” confirmed Pradeep.
Earlier, Love Insurance Kompany was slated for a September release while Dude confirmed its arrival for Diwali. However, the makers of LIK have recently announced that the film would hit theatres on October 17. Immediately, the producers of Dude also announced their film’s release during Diwali.
LIK is directed by Vignesh Shivan with Krithi Shetty playing the female lead. Dude is directed by Keerthiswaran and features Mamitha Baiju as the heroine.
