Over the years, the relationship between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has remained a subject of public curiosity. Though neither of them has officially confirmed it, fans have long speculated based on their holiday pictures, interviews and subtle social media exchanges. Their off-screen chemistry has kept their followers guessing and engaged.

With Vijay Deverakonda’s latest film Kingdom already in theatres, the actor and producer S. Naga Vamsi sat down for a post-release interview with Telugu web journalists. While discussing audience reactions and social media buzz around the film, Rashmika’s congratulatory tweet for Kingdom came up during the conversation.

At that point, Naga Vamsi revealed an interesting detail, Rashmika is a huge fan of Vijay. He recalled how she was eager to watch Kingdom on the first day at the popular Sree Ramulu theatre in Hyderabad. However, due to safety concerns following recent crowd incidents and the expected rush, the team advised her not to go there.

Instead, she chose to watch the film at Brahmaramba theatre. But what stood out was that she didn’t attend as herself. According to the producer, Rashmika went in disguise to avoid drawing attention and ensure public safety.

This revelation adds another chapter to the long-running buzz around the duo. Earlier, when asked about her relationship status at a public event, Rashmika responded that there was no need to clarify, as people already knew. And now, in the same interview, when Vijay was asked about any ‘good news’ in the near future, he simply smiled and said, “Let’s see,” without giving away anything.

It may not be an official confirmation, but it does hint at something more than just friendship. With both stars choosing silence over statements, speculation is likely to continue. For fans, this might just be another sign that something more definite could be on the way.
