Mahavatar Narasimha, the recent animation sensation in Indian cinema, continues to rule the box office, showing no signs of slowing down even in its third weekend. Despite the commencement of the partial advance bookings for both the I-Day releases, Coolie and War 2, Mahavatar continues to maintain its hold.

Mahavatar Narasimha’s makers have announced that the film has amassed over an impressive ₹25 crore on its third Saturday alone. The film’s consistent performance despite new releases has left trade pundits and the film fraternity surprised.

Given Mahavatar Narasimha’s latest box office trends, it looks like the patronage of the family audiences, and especially kids, is only increasing with each passing day.

Trade circles predict that the film’s mayhem at the ticket counters will not die down any time soon and that it will continue at least for two more weeks even though the upcoming weekend will witness the release of the biggies like Coolie and War 2.

Mahavatar Narasimha was released in cinemas worldwide on July 25, 2025. Made on a meager budget of less than Rs 10 crore, the film has collected over a staggering Rs 175 crore gross globally, with Rs 100 crore nett coming from the Hindi version alone.
