Hombale Films is one of the active production houses in South India, known for producing movies on a massive scale. They have produced films like KGF and Salaar so far, but their first-ever attempt at animation movies is proving to be a success. Their latest release, Mahavatar Narsimha, is turning out to be the Bhakta Prahlada for Gen Z.

Devotional films consistently find an audience, but filmmakers must reinvent themselves to impress new generations. Narrating a known story is the challenging aspect here, and how differently they do it without any deviations brings the difference. The story of Lord Narasimha Swamy’s avatar is known to all of us.

Over the decades, Tarun’s mother, Roja Ramani’s Bhakta Prahlada, served as the classic reference for this tale on the silver screen. Later, no one attempted to bring it to the audience again. But Hombale and Kleem Productions took a step forward to recreate the tale in animation. A lot of new generation audiences are falling in love with the film, and the families are finding it attractive too. The film being made in 3D is another added advantage in pulling the crowd.

However, this is the beginning of many such mythological animated tales coming from Hombale Films.

The following is the order of the upcoming slate.
