Maharaja Creates a Record at Chinese Box Office –

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the superstars of Tamil cinema. As Makkal Selvan, he has been doing extraordinary things in Kollywood. Not just as an actor, but he is also winning hearts as the host of the Bigg Boss Tamil show. His last film, Maharaja, registered a record at the Chinese box office.

Maharaja has become the highest-grossing Indian film in China since 2018, reaching Rs 91.55 crore. The film is a big hit in Tamilnadu and was released simultaneously on the same day in Telugu states. The Telugu version also impressed the audiences and had a dream run at the box office.

So far, Dangal stands on the top with a gross of 1480 Cr rupees at the Chinese box office. Also, Maharaja is the only film from the South to have a place in the list of top ten grossers at the box office.
