Pawan Kalyan’s latest sensation OG is rewriting records at the North American box office. Even before entering its second week, the film has stormed into the 5 million dollar club, a huge milestone that didn’t come easy. Behind this success was a lot of planning, hard work, and a fair share of struggles.

Another big factor was the constant rise in screens. The team quickly sensed the massive interest among NRIs in the US and kept increasing show counts. Even when issues popped up in places like Canada, where local buyer disputes almost led to show cancellations, the team stayed firm and resolved them without panic.

Content delivery also became a last-minute headache. At one point, the second half of the film wasn’t ready until the final moments, and shipping physical drives to theatres turned into a huge challenge. Here, Pawan Kalyan’s overseas fans played a heroic role. Many fans personally stepped in, carried the drives like couriers, and ensured theatres received them just in time.

The North American distributor also deserves credit for not giving in to pressure. Instead of cancelling shows, they stood firm, trusted the makers and fans, and worked tirelessly to make sure premieres happened on time. This determination paid off, audiences enjoyed the shows as scheduled, and the box office magic followed.
