The manner in which actor and politician Pawan Kalyan has been striking an impressive balance in handling both his political affairs and simultaneously fulfilling movie related commitments is turning out a case study. Meanwhile, the massive success of OG at the box office has buoyed the actor who is now in mood to continue working on more films by effectively managing his duties as a Cabinet Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of AP.
While there are speculations that he might next consider the long pending obligation to do a film for his friend and producer Ram Talluri under the direction of Surender Reddy, the latest buzz suggests another exciting prospect on cards for his fans. Reportedly, Pawan Kalyan has promised to do a film for renowned banner KVN Productions. The producer recently met Pawan and this development has sparked a new buzz in the media circles and the industry.
It is believed that KVN Productions has secured Pawan Kalyan’s dates some time ago and is looking to materialise the project in future based on his availability. Interestingly, two crazy Tamil directors are also in talks with the same banner. While one of them is Lokesh Kanagaraj and the other is H. Vinoth.
As of now, Lokesh Kanagaraj is the forerunner to join hands with KVN Productions and Pawan Kalyan. It is unclear when will this project take off because Pawan Kalyan will not immediately start shooting for his next projects due to his hectic workload as Deputy CM.
He has numerous administrative responsibilities, and he’ll make sure everything settles down before allocating time for movies but only if he chooses to, as he once said, cinema is his bread and butter.
Moreover, he will have to fulfill his other obligations before signing new commitments. On the other side, Lokesh Kanagaraj also suffered a huge debacle with Coolie and also uncertain about the golden opportunity to direct a Rajinikanth – Kamal Haasan multi-starrer.
Also, KVN Productions is currently busy handling multiple big-ticket films in different languages all over South. So, even if this project gets a green signal from Pawan Kalyan, it would take longer than expected to materialise given these circumstances.
