Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the successful directors in the South film industry. He represents the new-age filmmakers in South and has a lot of fan base already. Although the films he made are less, he already worked with Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Suriya, Karthi and others. His latest release Coolie is currently in theatres, performing moderately. Interestingly, Lokesh Kanagaraj planned some back-face shots for the film Coolie which he released during the promotions. It helped the film gain massive hype and craze around the film. The fans are excited to see the huge star cast on the big screen and there was also hype for the flashback sequence.
Now, post the release, the film gained a mediocre talk but the flash back sequence which has the film negative shots gave the fans a kick that they did not expect. The experience of the whole sequence in theatres is paisa vasool moment for the fans.
The fans are already making fresh edits on social media celebrating their faourite Thalaivar. In fact, Lokesh also earned appreciation for pulling out de-aging successfully on the screen. He set a new trend in terms of de-aging and more filmmakers would follow a similar approach in the coming days.
