Rana Daggubati is always there to encourage talent, and he introduced many talented directors and actors. His Spirit Media backs as presenter for the whimsical entertainer Kothapallilo Okappudu being helmed by first-timer Praveena Paruchuri under Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts Banner.
The film’s teaser was dropped just a while ago. It begins with villagers making allegations and complaints against the protagonist, who according to them is flirting with a local girl. He owns a record dance studio and is in search of a partner to dance along with him on the stage. However, the girl he follows misunderstands him, and so are the villagers.
It’s a quirky rural saga. The storyline alone sounds very interesting, while the casting of newcomers bring novelty. Petros Antoniadis cranks the camera, while Mani Sharma scores the soundtracks.
The makers through the teaser also announced to release the movie on July 18th.
