With just 14 days left for Hari Hara Veera Mallu to hit the screens, the countdown has begun, but not the buzz as expected. While fans are gearing up for the arrival of their Power Star after a long hiatus, the overall promotional momentum is far from what one would expect for a high-stakes historical actioner.

There’s no denying the anticipation in fan circles, but that won’t be enough to keep the box office roaring, especially with increased ticket rates and the need for wider public pull. For a film that’s seen years of delays, the hype has naturally taken a hit, and it’s time to rebuild that bridge with the general audience.

Producer AM Ratnam might be confident about the film’s output, but business confidence alone won’t push footfalls. The music hasn’t created much of a storm, and with only one track standing out, all hopes are now pinned on MM Keeravaani’s background score to do the heavy lifting. Given his track record with Baahubali and RRR, expectations are sky-high, but even the best BGM needs the right platform to resonate, and that platform is strong pre-release buzz.

The industry hasn’t had a box office hit in weeks. With Kubera underwhelming and Kannappa pulling out of the race, there’s a huge vacuum waiting to be filled. Distributors are counting on this film as their big-ticket return, especially since this marks the comeback of a tier-1 star after over six months.

But here’s the catch, this is the time when Pawan Kalyan needs to step in personally.

Whether it’s a couple of powerful interviews, a grand pre-release event, or just connecting directly with the audience via social media, his presence will shift the buzz. Right now, the film is flying under the radar outside the hardcore fan base. With the right push, Hari Hara Veera Mallu could flip the entire July box office script, but that will only happen if Pawan takes the wheel.
