SS Rajamouli is known for his perfectionist approach to filmmaking. He doesn’t move forward until every scene meets his standards, which is one of the main reasons his films perform strongly at the box office.

At present, Rajamouli is shooting his globetrotting action drama with Mahesh Babu. The project, currently under the working title #Globetrotter, is being made on a massive scale and is expected to be the biggest film of his career. The team has completed a few schedules, and the first reveal of the film is planned for November.

Meanwhile, Baahubali is also making headlines again. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda announced earlier this year that the franchise will return to theatres in October to mark its 10th anniversary. The re-release is not a simple screening but a special single recut version of both parts, presented as one epic film.

Even while working on his new project, Rajamouli has been spending time in post-production for Baahubali: The Epic. The film has been remastered with improved visuals and is set for release worldwide on October 31. It will be available in large formats like IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, DBox, and EpiQ.

Sharing an update on social media, Shobu Yarlagadda wrote that Rajamouli and the team are treating this like a brand-new release. “When we do something, we go all the way and try to give you the very best we can. My heartfelt thanks to the team for working on ‘The Epic’ like it’s a new film,” he posted.

Absolutely, with @ssrajamouli and entire team @BaahubaliMovie there no half measures! When we do something we go all the way and try to give you the very best we can! 😊 My heartfelt thanks to the team for working on “The Epic” like it’s new film! They are working for the pride… https://t.co/wcfmdNxEh5— Shobu Yarlagadda (@Shobu_) October 3, 2025
