It is not new that foreign music composers work for Indian films. Very recently, we saw this in the case of Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa. Now, Nitish Tiwari’s Kannappa gets a value addition with the entry of Hans Zimmer along with AR Rahman. The makers confirmed both names in the glimpse that they released recently.
Hans Zimmer is one of the most celebrated music composers in the world of cinema. Films like Interstellar, The Lion King, Dune, Inception, and the most recent release, F1, stand as a testimony to the good score he comes up with. For the first time, he is working for an Indian film, that too on a project based on Ramayana.
So far, Hans Zimmer has been nominated twelve times for Oscars and he has won two Academy Awards. The score to the glimpse released by the makers today is exceptional. We are not sure of who scored it, but Hans Zimmer’s contribution would be there for the short teaser.
As soon as the glimpse went viral on social media, the netizens and the fans of Hans Zimmer can’t keep calm as they will be witnessing a fantastic score to an epic film by the best in the business.
Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi essays the role of Sita, and Sunny Deol plays Lord Hanuman in Ramayana. Part 1 is set to release on Diwali 2026, while Part 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on Diwali 2027.
