The discussions about iBomma Ravi have dominated social media since yesterday. The controversy intensified after the Hyderabad police arrested the website’s founder Ravi. Earlier, he had issued challenges to the police department. It is now revealed that he was caught because of his divorce case. Ravi’s father also confirmed the same.
Ravi’s father, Apparao, who lives in Visakhapatnam, expressed shock over the revelations. He stated that he was unaware of his son’s illegal activities. He also mentioned that Ravi’s public challenge to the government and police is a grave mistake. He also mentioned that the family had been struggling and that Ravi’s marriage eventually fell apart.
Apparao acknowledged that his son’s actions were wrong. Hyderabad police are expected to present Ravi in court tomorrow and later seek custody for further investigation.
Ravi, who had been living in the Caribbean Islands, reportedly flew to Hyderabad to handle a personal matter involving his wife. Acting on information she provided, the police detained him.
