Young beauty Sreeleela and her mother, Swarnalatha, were the special guests on the latest episode of Jagapathi Babu’s talk show, ‘Jayammu Nischayammu Raa With Jagapathi,’ on ZEE5. During the show, Sreeleela’s mother, Swarnalatha, revealed how NTR inspired Sreeleela’s foray into classical dance.
Sreeleela and Swarnalatha were in total awe when an old photograph of NTR performing Kuchipudi was displayed on screen during the show. “This photograph reminds me of the moment when I decided to encourage my daughter to learn classical dance, and I got Sreeleela to learn Kuchipudi,” Swarnalatha said. Incidentally, NTR had given over 100 Kuchipudi dance performances in his childhood.
When Jagapathi Babu asked her if she ever met NTR, Swarnalatha said that she spoke with him during the TANA event in Los Angeles way back in 1997. Sreeleela is one of the best dancers in the country, and her impeccable dance moves in songs like Kissik and Viral Vayyari enthralled the masses across the country.
Sreeleela, despite most of her movies tanking at the box office, continues to sign plum projects opposite top stars thanks to her talent and craze among the masses. She is currently working on the keenly awaited films like Mass Jatara, Parashakti, Ustad Bhagat Singh, and her Bollywood debut film, Aashiqui 3.
