Hombale Films are one of the successful film producers in Indian cinema. With the KGF franchise, they shot to fame, and then with Salaar, they upped their game. They also run after the stars, but the kind of projects they announce are unique, special, and one of a kind. In such an element, the production house today announced the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. Interestingly, we can expect Prabhas to be a part of this universe as he inked a three film deal with the producers.
As per the announcement from the production house, the following is their release calendar.
Here’s our release calendar:– Mahavatar Narsimha (25th July-2025)– Mahavatar Parshuram (2027)– Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029)– Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031)– Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033)– Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 (2035)– Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 (2037)
The production house gave a clarity on the line up for the next one decade. Interestingly, Prabhas is already doing a project with the title Kalki and he may not be doing the same again, although the stories are different. Mahavatar Narasimha will release this year, and the only possibility for Prabhas to be a part of the universe is through the roles of Parshuram, Raghunandan, Dhawakadesh, and Gokulnanda. If Raghunandan is about Lord Sriram, Prabhas has already done that in Adipurush. So, he is left with three options now.
However, Prabhas will have to complete Salaar 2 first with the producers and then he will jump on to another film. But, it is unclear if Prabhas is a part of this universe. Meanwhile, the producers earlier announced a collaboration with Hrithik Roshan and we can expect him also to be playing any role in the universe.
“The possibilities are ENDLESS, and we’re PUMPED to see our stories ROAR to life on screen. Buckle up for an EPIC cinematic ride” revealed the makers.
