When news first broke that Pawan Kalyan would be teaming up with director Krish, it generated a great deal of excitement among not only his fans but also the broader Telugu audience. When the first teaser of the film was released, fans felt it was exactly what they had been waiting for. However, their movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu underwent a majority of twists and turns to see the light this month. With Jyothi Krishna at the helm, the fans are neither geared up nor ignoring the film.
In fact, for every star-driven project, the director factor also plays a crucial role. For films like Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak, the fans on social media encouraged directors Venu Sriram and Sagar Chandra, with a hope that they would showcase Pawan Kalyan in a manner that satisfies them. But now, despite the trailer of HHVM coming out, the fans are unsure of how Jyothi Krishna handled their favourite hero and the film.
Many Pawan fans believe that the actor isn’t doing enough films despite his star power. After his comeback, he mostly worked on remakes like Vakeel Saab, Bheemla Nayak, and Bro, which left some fans disappointed. However, Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak managed to generate significant hype. But Pawan’s appointment as Deputy CM of AP has changed everything.
The recently released trailer of HHVM did not raise expectations at first, but at the same time, did not catch any negativity. However, with Pawan Kalyan not in the limelight, the director has to be responsible for mobilizing fans and creating some hype, which is missing for this film. Although producer AM Rathnam is taking up that job, the fans and moviegoers would genuinely want to hear about the film from the director since he is involved completely.
Jyothikrishna, known for his string of flops, took over as director from Krish. This led to fans lowering their expectations. Those who watched his last film, Rules Ranjan, couldn’t help but wonder what’s in store with HHVM. Whatever it may be, the team is trying to push the film positively and are hoping that the film releases on July 24th to a roaring success.
