Pawan Kalyan’s recent film “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” landed in the OTT in less than a month of its release. The film premiered today on Amazon Prime Video, within 27 days of its theatrical release. Interestingly, the makers released the trimmed version on OTT, and not the original version with a lengthier runtime.
When Hari Hara Veera Mallu was released in theatres, it was criticised heavily for a few sequences which had subpar VFX. After receiving backlash, the makers corrected those VFX shots and scenes and released the new version again in theatres. Reportedly, they have completely removed those sequences in the OTT version. The removed sequences include the heavily criticised horse riding sequence and the shot where Pawan Kalyan aims his arrow while jumping in the air.
Netizens stated that the makers also made a few changes in the climax. They have ended the movie with part 2 announcement right after the completion of the “Asura Hananam” song. Reportedly, a few Bobby Deol dialogue and action sequences were chopped in the climax. On the whole, the runtime of Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s OTT version is 153 minutes. People who missed watching the film in theatres can now catch it on Prime Video.
