Though Tamannaah Bhatia started off her career with a 2005 Hindi film titled ‘Chand Sa Roshan Chehra’, she shot to fame after acting in Telugu and Tamil movies. When asked about the difference between the Hindi and South film industries, Tamannaah shared an incident where she was replaced in a movie for refusing to do an “uncomfortable” scene.
Speaking in the interview, Tamannaah said that she started off her acting career at a very young age. She said people will try to shake your confidence because you are young and don’t understand a few things at such a young age. She said that she faced such instances many times, where people tried to humiliate her.
Recalling an experience, Tamannaah said that she once refused to do a scene in a big South star’s film as she felt uncomfortable. Immediately, the actor told the makers to change the heroine.
“If someone tried to humiliate you, there is no need to feel the same way. The actor shouted loudly to change the heroine when I refused to do the scene. Whatever he felt, he said it loudly, and he decided to treat his co-actor in such a way. However, the next day, he came to me and apologised for his statements. He said he was upset and angry and admitted that he shouldn’t have behaved that way,” Tamannaah stated.
