Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, officially walked out of the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster Baby. Babil took to Instagram to announce his decision. He said that even though he and Sai Rajesh collaborated to create magic together, things didn’t go ahead as planned. He said that he will be taking a break from acting and wished luck to Sai Rajesh and his team.
On the other side, Sai Rajesh welcomed Babil’s decision and said that he will miss his ‘hero’. He said that he will respect Babil’s decision of self-care and wished him the best.
Announcing his exit from the film, Babil wrote, “With a lot of grit, passion, and mutual respect, Sai Rajesh sir and I both got along on this journey of creating magic together. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn’t go ahead as everyone had planned. Since I will be taking some time off currently, I wish the best to Sai Rajesh sir and the film team on their future journey. I know there is immense love between us, and we will meet soon in the future and create magic together.”
On the other side, Sai Rajesh took to social media to write, “Babil is one of the most talented and hardworking actors I have met in my life. However, I have to accept this unfortunate reality of the situation. After spending time with Babil while prepping, I was very happy to be working with such a talented actor… I will still always cherish the experience of seeing him perform in front of me … I will miss my Hero! I respect his decision of self-care first, and wish him all the best and send him all the love in the future! I know we both will create that magic together for sure.”
Recently, Babil shared a video on Instagram where he was seen crying and talking about how biased Bollywood is. Later, he also had a spat with Sai Razesh on the platform. However, both of them deleted their posts later. Days after this incident, Babil announced his exit from Baby’s remake. Now, we have to see who will replace him in the film.
Released in 2023, Baby was a big hit in Telugu. Directed by Sai Rajesh, it featured Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin in the lead roles.
