The much-awaited film Hari Hara Veera Mallu is all set for a grand release, and the Andhra Pradesh government has reportedly approved a hike in ticket prices. A special GO is released, allowing theatres across the state to increase prices for a limited period.

As per the new regulation, multiplexes will be allowed to add ₹200 to the base ticket price, while single screens can charge an additional ₹150 for upper balcony and ₹100 for lower-class seats. This hike will be valid from July 24 to August 2.

Adding to the hype, special premiere shows have been permitted on the night of July 23. The ticket price for these shows has been fixed at a flat ₹600 across all theatres.

Producer A.M. Rathnam has defended the price hike, stating that the film has been in the making for five years with a massive budget, heavy VFX work, and a star-studded cast. He insists that the hike is meant to recover the investment and not to chase profits.

With the box office seeing a dry run recently, the industry is hoping this film will revive the excitement. If Veera Mallu clicks with the audience, it could mark the return of houseful shows across the state.
