Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom is a must-win film for the actor. Directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, the film also tests Gautham’s potential to emerge as a successful commercial director. Interestingly, the primary target for the film is to achieve a big number at Box office. It may be difficult but definitely not impossible, especially when there is no competition at the ticket windows.
With Hari Hara Veera Mallu not attracting the audience, it is a positive element for the Kingdom. Mahavatar Narsimha and Saiyaara, which are performing well, will not pose a big threat to the Kingdom in any manner. Even in terms of theatrical business, Kingdom reportedly posted big numbers.
The film was reportedly sold for 15 Cr, 6 Cr, 15 Cr, 3.5 Cr, 10 Cr, and 4 Cr for Nizam, Ceded, Andhra, Rest of India, Overseas, and the dubbing versions. For the film to break even, the movie must score a blockbuster hit. There are enough elevation scenes and the action sequences to catch the attention of mass audiences, and the team is confident of the same.
The advance bookings that opened yesterday are quite good, with most shows fast filling, which is a positive sign.
With the film’s pre-release event scheduled for today, the team is confident of turning the tables by generating huge buzz especially with all eyes on Anirudh’s electrifying live performance.
