Gautham Tinnanuri is one of the filmmakers who approach his stories with honesty. When he made his debut with Malli Rava, everyone could not understand the potential he has in becoming a director to watch out for.
But, Jersey changed everything and even transported him to Bollywood. Although he has just made three films, he is already a filmmaker who displays a lot of promise. Up next, he has Kingdom lined up for a release tomorrow.
Vijay Deverakonda played the lead role in Kingdom, and there is a lot of positive buzz surrounding the film. The actor chased him to do a film. Vijay understood the value of Gautham and had worked hard to bring this project to life. Vijay had great confidence in Gautham because of which he also passed a statement that Kingdom is not a Gautam’s KGF but it is Gautam Tinnanuri’s Kingdom.
Gautham’s past work includes a romantic drama titled Malli Rava and an intense emotional drama called Jersey. Now, he is coming up with an action thriller, laced with intense emotions. Altogether, there is a lot that this genre demands and Gautham has no experience in it.
Without a prior experience, it is always travelling on the edge, to deal a film like that. Mounted on a grand scale with a big budget, Gautham managed to create a vibe which is currently the reason for the film attracting good pre-sales. Vijay was experiencing flops and he had all his hopes pinned on this project.
The trailer has spoken for the film and the best part is that not even a single person either trolled or criticised the effort that went into making the film. The team has guts in presenting the film with a honesty and they are hopeful that it pays off.
Kingdom is releasing tomorrow and let us hope that it becomes a blockbuster, making Gautham the star director of Telugu cinema.
