Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the top filmmakers in the country who is known for some magnum opus projects in Hindi. He is on par with some of the best directors. Now, he is facing legal issues with the allegations of fraud, misbehaviour and breach of trust by a producer with who he worked on the film Love and War. Apart from Bhansali, two others are also booked in the complaint.

Hospitality CEO Prateek Raj Mathur claimed that he was given a contract as a line producer by Bhansali, but it was later cancelled. Raj Mathur accused him of being removed from the project without being paid. The police officials received the complaint and filed an FIR on him, under charges of fraud, criminal conspiracy and criminal intimidation. The other two persons are Arvind Gill, and Utkarsh Bali from Bikaner.

Mathur received an email from the film’s production house as a line producer and immediately, he began the work. Mathur alleged that he made necessary arrangements for the shoot, including the security measures and the required permissions from various departments of the government. The production house neither signed a formal agreement with Mathur nor gave him an explanation for the termination of his services, which resulted in him approaching the police.

Additionally, Mathur claimed that he went to meet the team in Bikaner in August. However, Bhansali and Bhansali Productions managers Utkarsh Bali and Arvind Gill, allegedly misbehaved with him.

Love & War features Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles. The film marks the first collaboration of Alia and Ranbir after their marriage. The film is scheduled to hit the screens next year.
