The Telugu version of Drishyam franchise was thoroughly savoured by Telugu audiences for its plot, suspense and realistic characterizations.
Drushyam was one of the first Malayalam films to be successfully remade in Telugu without changing its essence and core theme. It gradually paved the way for more Malayalam-to-Telugu remakes in the thriller genre.
The latest news is the entire Drishyam family will be reuniting for the third instalment. The makers of the third instalment have locked the shooting dates as well.
According to the reports, the shoot of both Malayalam and Hindi versions are going to be kickstarted on October 2 this year as the makers felt Gandhi Jayanthi holds a lot of significance for Drishyam franchise. Mohanlal plays Georgekutty while Ajay Devgn plays the role of Vijay Salgaonkar for the Hindi version.
Meanwhile, Telugu audiences are eagerly waiting for the third part to arrive in theatres. It is still unclear when the Telugu version will go on floors.
Now that Mohanlal and Ajay Devgn are going to start the project soon, Telugu fans too are demanding actor Venkatesh to start the schedule as soon as possible.
