Producer Dil Raju, currently busy promoting his upcoming film Thammudu, found himself addressing media questions — not about the film, but about the controversy surrounding Game Changer and the comments made by his brother and fellow producer Shirish Reddy.

The much-hyped Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, has been at the center of heated discussions following its box office performance. During a recent interaction, Shirish Reddy openly admitted that the film’s failure put their production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations, under financial pressure. His comments sparked speculation about strained relations with the film’s lead, Ram Charan.

Shirish also mentioned that after Game Changer’s result, neither Ram Charan nor Shankar reached out to them — not even for a courtesy call.

However, Dil Raju was quick to clear the air. “Charan was very helpful to us. Though we suggested he take up another film, he stood by Game Changer and dedicated more time to the project. We’re thankful to Charan, and also to Chiranjeevi garu for allowing us to have a second release during Sankranthi,” Dil Raju said, addressing the issue directly.

He further clarified that there are no misunderstandings between them and Ram Charan. “Shirish and I share a good rapport with Charan. It was Shirish’s first time speaking to the media — he got emotional about the financial circumstances. Honestly, he also got carried away by a few manipulative questions from the interviewer. His choice of words wasn’t right, but there was no wrong intent.”

Dil Raju also recently announced, “We carry the guilt that Game Changer didn’t live up to your expectations. We will soon fulfill that by doing a film with Ram Charan. Plans are already in place, an official announcement will be made soon.”
