Teja Sajja’s Mirai is scheduled for a grand release on September 12th. Most likely, the film will be having a solo release. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film also features Manchu Manoj, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Saran and others in crucial roles. There is a Lord Sriram’s character that becomes crucial in the film’s plot.

In a recent press interaction in Chennai, the media asked Teja about who played the role in the movie. There have been speculations that Superstar Mahesh Babu played this role but Teja issued a clarity on the same. Teja hoped that it would have been good if Mahesh did it but in reality, he did not do that.

There have been reports that the team created Lord Ram’s character in AI like how team HanuMan created Lord Hanuman’s character in the film.

Earlier, HanuMan director Prashanth Varma and Bollywood casting director Mukesh Chhabra expressed a wish to see Mahesh as Lord Sri Ram. The rumor in the tinsel town is that Mahesh was approached to play Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Later, Ranbir was brought in for this film.

On the work front, Mahesh is currently working for a film, directed by SS Rajamouli.
