Coolie is one of the upcoming releases carrying huge buzz in the Telugu states. Despite being a Tamil film, the movie is enjoying significant buzz. It is partially because of Akkineni Nagarjuna and the usual Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj factors also. We can not credit a single person for the film enjoying this craze but the Telugu social media is divided about the same.
Following the success of Kubera, Nagarjuna Akkineni is definitely on demand. He may be flooded with more films where he will be offered character artist roles. Even otherwise, he played a crucial role in Kuberaa becoming a success, especially in Telugu. Now, his fans argue that Nag’s presence in Coolie is pushing the film furthermore.
There are speculations that the Telugu dubbing rights of Coolie are being sold for a record price. Nag’s fans see it as an achievement because of Nagarjuna’s presence in the project. In reality, Nag’s solo films in the recent past never displayed a demand like this and all of a sudden, the fans are also on active mode to defend the craze, crediting the senior hero.
On the other hand, the other fans and movie lovers see it as a common trend. Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth combination itself is generating curiosity. Moreover, the film features multiple stars from multiple languages. Even if we talk about Telugu market alone, Rajini’s market got revived after the success of Jailer and it is usual to expect such craze.
However, instead of welcoming such a big multistarrer with a positive vibe, the fans are resorting to unnecessary and unwanted fan wars which seem silly, illogical and irrelevant. If the film fails, we are not sure who will take the blame for it. Instead of over expectations shadowing the project, caution must be followed in hyping up a film.
