The teaser of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar was released yesterday and received a positive response from the audience. People praised Ranveer’s bulky muscular look, the action-packed teaser cut complemented by a catchy foot-tapping Punjabi track.

The film features an ensemble of big actors like Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna. Amid these huge stars, young actress Sara Arjun is playing the female lead in it.

For the unversed, Sara Arjun is the little girl who played Vikram’s daughter in the 2011 film Deiva Thirumagal (Nanna in Telugu). She was recently seen as a teenage version of Aishwarya Rai in Ponniyin Selvan. The 20-year-old Sara will be romancing the 40-year-old Ranveer in Dhurandhar. It is a huge launch pad for the young lady, and her Bollywood career depends on this film’s result.

Initially, their drastic age gap raised many objections on social media. But a few people claimed that Ranveer plays the role of a spy in this action thriller, and he traps a woman terrorist, who is played by Sara. As technically it is not a romantic interest role, they opined that there is nothing wrong with casting Sara for it.

Keeping aside the objections and concerns on social media, it is a big opportunity for Sara to cement herself as a promising talent in Bollywood. Getting a break in Bollywood is tough, especially with heavy competition from nepo kids. But Ranveer Singh’s film will be a great launchpad for Sara, and if she manages to make a mark, there will be no looking back.

Directed by Aditya Dhar of “Uri: The Surgical Strike” fame, Dhurandhar is slated for a worldwide release on December 5.
