This Diwali, four Telugu films, Mithra Mandali, Telusu Kada, K Ramp, and Dude (Dubbed) are hitting the screens. With all teams actively promoting their movies, the competition is heating up. Mithra Mandali, starring Priyadarshi and Niharika NM, is set for release on October 16, with paid premieres a day earlier on October 15.
At the film’s pre-release event held on Monday, producer Bunny Vas spoke strongly against the negative campaigns targeting Mithra Mandali. He said that while it’s natural for films to compete, spreading hate or trolling other movies for personal gain is wrong.
“Four films are releasing this Diwali, and I hope all do well. Success of one film shouldn’t come at the cost of another. Some believe trolling others will help them win, but it doesn’t work that way. If a film is good, people will watch it; if not, they’ll reject it. The audience decides, not us,” said Bunny Vas.
He added, “Competition is fine, but it should be based on righteousness. If my film doesn’t do well, I’ll still wish success for others. Maybe that’s why I’ve been blessed with consistent success.”

Addressing those running online hate campaigns, he said humorously, “If you’re trolling, at least charge more. You’re taking negative energy in exchange for your positive one. Stay positive, and remember, there’s enough space for everyone if the films are good.”
Though Bunny Vas didn’t name anyone, his remarks clearly hinted at the tense competition among the four Diwali releases.
Mithra Mandali features Priyadarshi, Niharika NM, Rag Mayur, Vishnu Oi, and Prasad Behara in key roles. The film is presented by Bunny Vas under BV Works and produced by Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, with music composed by RR Dhruvan.
