Despite being one of the most talented actors of this generation, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil has failed to score a big success as a lead hero over the last few years. He has been delivering sensational performances in each film, but due to the poor story selection, he is unable to achieve success with his movies.

Except for Aavesham, none of the films in which Fahadh played a lead role in the last five years managed to become successful at the box office. He came up with multiple films as a lead, including Irul, Joji, Malik, Malayakunju, Dhooman and Mareesan.

His latest film, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, which was released a couple of days ago, also received an underwhelming response from the audience and is set to become another disappointing outing for the actor. With this track record, Fahadh is just remaining a talented actor who cannot choose strong scripts.

This year, Fahadh came up with two films, Mareesan and Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira. Mareesan was a failure at the box office but gained decent talk upon its OTT release. On the flip side, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira failed to reach expectations and remained a dull romantic comedy.

On the other side, films like Lokah and Hridaya Poorvam, which were released during the same weekend, ended up gaining positive talk. Thus, it ended up as another failure for Fahadh.

On the other side, Fahadh has been scoring hits as a supporting actor with films like Vikram, Maamannan, Pushpa and Pushpa 2. So, people are wondering why Fahadh can choose good scripts for supporting roles and underwhelming scripts for lead roles. Only he knows the answer. They opined that, being one of the finest actors we have, Fahadh should choose stories properly from now on.
