Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is making her Telugu debut with the upcoming film “Jatadhara”, which stars Sudheer Babu as the lead hero and is slated for a worldwide release on November 7. Sonakshi is playing the antagonist in the movie, and she revealed that she had to wear 50 kilograms of jewellery while shooting this film.

Speaking in a recent interview, Sonakshi said that this is one of the most physically challenging roles she has done in her career. It used to take her three hours to get ready and go to the sets. She used to wear a saree and a harness under it. She said that then she had to wear 50 kg of jewellery, which was stitched onto her so that it wouldn’t move during action sequences.

Sonakshi said that it was a painful experience of wearing that jewellery, suspended in the air for half the day. Despite being physically challenging for her, Sonakshi said that she managed to pull the role with ease due to the warm and welcoming people on the sets. She said that not even one day had passed, and they made her feel like an outsider who was working on her first film in this industry.

Touted to be a mythological mystical thriller, Jatadhara will have a pan-India release this Friday. It is directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal.
