Nandamuri Balakrishna, is a proud father of two daughters and a son. His son, Mokshagna, is all set to make his debut as a lead actor soon. While Balakrishna’s daughters have largely stayed away from the limelight, they’ve become more familiar to the public in recent years through their professional work.
His elder daughter, Brahmani, is married to Minister Nara Lokesh and serves as the Executive Director at Heritage Foods Ltd. The younger daughter, Tejaswini, is married to MP Sri Bharath and has been actively involved in Balakrishna’s professional ventures.
Initially, Tejaswini took charge as Creative Producer for the talk show Unstoppable with NBK on Aha Video. The show played a big part in connecting Balakrishna with younger audiences. Since then, she has been closely involved in his film productions and creative decisions.
She is now one of the producers in Balakrishna’s upcoming film Akhanda 2 and is also associated with her brother Mokshagna’s debut project, overseeing the production work to ensure a smooth launch.
The latest update is that Tejaswini, who so far stayed behind the camera, is now set to appear on screen. She will be joining her father as a brand ambassador for a popular jewellery brand that Balakrishna already endorses.
The ad shoot is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad from Wednesday. Though her appearance is for a commercial campaign, it marks her first on-screen presence. Nandamuri fans are curious to see if this could lead to her acting debut in films someday.
Interestingly, this is not the first time a star’s family has shared screen space for a brand. Mahesh Babu and his daughter Sitara have also appeared together in jewellery advertisements in the past.
