Star Boy Siddhu Jonnalagadda, who started his career as a character artist, established himself as a reliable hero after scoring a blockbuster with DJ Tillu. His maverick mannerisms and peculiar acting skills made him a big favourite among the youth. With his last outing Jack turning out to be a box office turkey, Siddhu is now back to test his luck with a hard-hitting romantic entertainer ‘Telusu Kada’ which is slated for release this week.

During the trailer launch of Telusu Kada, Siddhu opened up about the type of roles he is interested in picking up at this point of his career. He also revealed about his next outing Badass which is expected to be another out-of-the-box attempt from the actor.

When our journalist asked him whether he will ever return to the role of a soft guy in future as he is currently doing back-to-back radical characters, Siddhu replied he is tired of being as soft man as the world is not kind enough to such people. He is also not worried about being typecast with his selection and said he will get to Tillu like characters again.

Siddhu said Badass will present him in a more radical avatar as the character arc will cross all limits and all boundaries. He asserted that Badass will be the darkest film ever made in Tollywood. Siddhu opined that being radical is not just about displaying masculinity from aggressive talking or expressing emotions, but it comes from strong experiences we face in our life. He stated that cinema is an art which acts as outlet to demonstrate what one experiences in life.

For the unversed, Badass is an out and out action drama which marks the reunion of ‘Krishna and His Leela’ director Ravikanth Perepu with Siddhu. The first look poster featuring Siddhu in a bold and rugged avatar was unveiled in July this year. The tagline ‘If Middle finger was a man’ hints that the lead protagonist will have a brash and impudent attitude in the film. With his latest statements, Siddhu has now hinted what is in store for audiences with Badass.
