Sandeep Reddy Vanga is trending in the film circles now. One of the reasons is his presence and the speech at the pre-release event of Thandel. The second reason is that he shared a picture from his office and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s picture is spotted on the wall. Despite the office having many English movie posters, the main attraction was the picture of Chiranjeevi, with angry expression.
Chiranjeevi’s picture was captured from the film Aaradhana, which was released in te year 1987. The film is directed by Bharathiraja and it featured Suhasini as the female lead. The movie is a remake but it failed miserably at the box office. The audio album scored by Ilaiayaraaja is a hit but the film has failed.
It is natural to wonder why Sandeep Vanga chose this photo when Chiru has so many blockbusters. But, Chiranjeevi’s character in Aradhana is named Puliraju. He is full of anger and rage. His behavior is so aggressive that he would easily go against his mother. However, he is changed completely when a teacher named Jennifer comes into his life.
The teacher slaps Puliraju and it is in the same scene does Chiru wears this angry expression. He framed the expression that is visible for only a second. As a matter of fact, Sandeep’s heroes are all aggressive. May be, he got his inspiration from the Puliraju character.
Even though the movie did not do well, the characterization and the megastar’s performance left Sandeep Vanga mesmerized. Sandeep is one of those filmmakers who is immensely inspired by Chiranjeevi. It will be interesting to see them collaborate.
Currently, Sandeep Vanga has completed the script work of Spirit and is waiting for Prabhas dates, to take the film to the floors.
