The Chennai cocaine scandal deepened today with actor Krishna being detained for questioning. This follows the recent arrests of actor Srikanth and film producer Prasad, a former AIADMK member.
Krishna, from a prominent film family, is being questioned at Nungambakkam Police Station. Police suspect Prasad supplied cocaine to film industry contacts and hosted drug-fueled parties. Krishna’s link is still under investigation.
Known for his role in Kazhugu, Krishna joins a growing list of names tied to the case, which now includes 22 arrests, even some police personnel. Investigators say the case also involves job scams, blackmail, and land fraud. Police are now seeking custody of Srikanth and Prasad to uncover the full network.
