Dynamic producer Anil Sunkara has come up with an idea that has never been attempted in Indian cinema before. Under the banner of AK Entertainments and presented by ATV Originals, he is launching a movie where every single craft will be handled by newcomers.
For the first time, all 24 departments of filmmaking will be filled with fresh talent. Right from actors, writers, lyricists, directors, assistant directors, cinematographers, editors, art directors, choreographers, stunt masters, music directors, singers, sound engineers, VFX artists, publicity designers, to costume designers – every role will be taken up by new entrants to the industry.
Selections will happen through a unique reality show titled SHOW TIME – Cinema Teeddam Randi, being organized by ATV Originals. The show is already drawing massive interest from aspiring artists across the country. It will showcase the entire journey of making a feature film, giving viewers a rare inside look at how cinema comes together from script to screen.
This project is being hailed as a game changer, not just because it gives opportunities to hundreds of fresh faces, but also because it breaks the long-existing barriers that limit new talent from entering mainstream cinema. With this experiment, Anil Sunkara and his team aim to open doors for a new generation of filmmakers and creators.
