Thug Life controversy is taking unnecessary turns with Kamal Haasan refusing to add a line of apology in his letter. Already, The court questioned whether he is a historian to pass such statements and further ordered Kamal Haasan to apologise for his statements and settle the matter. But, Kamal refused to do so. Hence, the court adjourned the case to a different date.

As per the latest reports, Karnataka HC adjourned the matter to 10th June. Meanwhile, apart from refusing to apology, Kamal also withdrawn appeal for police protection! Hence, the court directed the actor to sort the issue with the Film Chamber.

Kamal Haasan issued a letter to the Karnataka film chamber, informing that his statements are misunderstood and misinterpreted. He said that his words were intended to convey that all South Indian languages come from the same family and not to diminish the Kannada language in any way.

It is unclear as to why Kamal Haasan is dragging the issue unnecessarily. We have to see if someone mediates to ensure Kamal tenders an apology. On the other hand, Thug Life is scheduled for a grand release on June 5th.
