For the first time in his career, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan stepped forward to address the media about one of his films today. Despite holding a pre release event, Pawan decided to speak with the media personally and attended the event this morning to give the much-needed boost to Hari Hara Veera Mallu. However, Pawan made it clear that he called for the press meet only to stand by the film’s producer AM Rathnam who is working round the clock to give the best release for the fans.

Interestingly, after the press meet, AM Rathnam shared his happiness on how Pawan took the initiative to talk to the press today. AM Rathnam was happy with the way Pawan spoke and complimented him at the event. He wanted the film to be discussed and Pawan initiated the discussions about the film and the purpose has been served. However, Rathnam also confessed how he was feeling bad about his film having a long title while Pawan’s other film has a short title, for instance OG.

In reality, the fans are highly excited for OG despite having Hari Hara Veera Mallu on the block. Although HHVM was lined up for a release first, people only talked about OG which made producer AM Rathnam think that the public is talking about OG because it has a short title while his film has a lengthy title and everyone is finding it difficult to remember.

“I thought, people are remembering it and chanting OG OG all the time. I used to feel upset and think at least fans should chant Veera Veera for my film to keep the buzz around it alive,” said Rathnam on a fun note.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna is releasing on July 24th.
